Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Moy Goods LLC ("we") collects when you use The Astrologist website and app, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@theastrologist.pro.
What we collect

Every email has a one-click stop link: once you use it, or ask us, we delete your address. |

Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We use these service providers, each only for the purpose listed:
- Stripe: payments, receipts and billing.
- Anthropic: the AI that writes readings. Your chart data and relevant profile context are sent to generate text. Under Anthropic's commercial terms this data is not used to train their models.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): we use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure our ads. We send events such as "completed the quiz" or "purchased" with hashed (scrambled) email, phone, name, date of birth and location details, plus browser identifiers. Meta may use this to measure and improve ad delivery.
- Omnisend: our email service, for your reading follow-ups and astrology emails. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Resend: delivery of sign-in, account and follow-up emails.
- ElevenLabs: only if you use audio narration, to turn the reading text into speech.
- Hosting: our servers are hosted by Hostinger.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our users and the Service.
Cookies and ad measurement
We use essential browser storage to remember your quiz progress and keep you signed in, and Meta's cookies (_fbp, _fbc) to measure ads. Under some US state laws (for example California), sharing data with Meta for ad measurement can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, email hello@theastrologist.pro with the subject "Do not share" and we will stop sending your events to Meta. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it. You can also block these cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account is open. Quiz data from people who never buy is deleted after 12 months, unless they agreed to emails: then we keep it, with the address, until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Billing records are kept as tax law requires (Stripe holds them). When you delete your account, we erase your chart, readings, answers and profile immediately.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. Delete everything yourself in the app (You tab, What I know about you, Delete my account) or email us. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (readings, account, billing), your consent (marketing emails, ad cookies where required), and our legitimate interests (security, measuring our ads).
Children
The Service is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Emails are stored as keyed hashes, payment data stays with Stripe, and access to our systems is restricted.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
